1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating or using a Cost Plus PT account, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement where you live.
2. Product-preview status
Cost Plus PT is in development. The current website, information checklist, dashboard, help center, session tools, camera preview, voice controls, personal-log displays, and guided session demonstrate intended educational-software behavior. Goals, checklist answers, consent records, assigned content versions, measurements, check-ins, personal progress entries, session responses, rule reasons, and stop records are product-study and app-activity records. Shared account storage is default-off during migration and operational review, so existing preview records remain in the current browser unless the signed-in experience explicitly says shared storage is enabled. When enabled, display-state decisions come from versioned deterministic rules; an explanation may describe a recorded decision but does not select it. These records are not your medical record, diagnosis, treatment prescription, professional recommendation, or evidence that a change is safe.
3. Self-guided education—not physical therapy
Cost Plus PT provides source-linked general exercise information, guided demonstrations, and tools for recording your own goals and responses. It is not a physical-therapy practice, medical provider, emergency service, or substitute for individualized advice from a qualified professional. The information and automated rules have not been clinically reviewed for you, and no clinician reviews or monitors your account, answers, sessions, or messages. Cost Plus PT is not planning clinician oversight as part of this service. No patient-provider relationship is created. Source links describe where information came from; they do not mean a source author, publisher, professional association, or clinician reviewed or endorsed Cost Plus PT. “PT” is part of the Cost Plus PT brand name; it does not mean that the service is provided by or under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
Do not use this app to assess an emergency or decide whether to delay care. If you may have an emergency, contact local emergency services.
4. Your account and device
Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account unless prohibited by law. Device-held preview entries can remain in the current browser after sign-out, so use the clear control in You when using a shared device. When shared storage is enabled, structured app-activity records are instead associated with the signed-in account and require the record or account-deletion controls. We may suspend access to protect users, investigate abuse, or maintain the service.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, evade security controls, upload malicious content, impersonate another person, use another person’s health information without authority, scrape protected areas, or use the preview to provide medical services to someone else.
6. Camera, microphone, and physical environment
You choose whether to enable camera or microphone access. Use the movement demonstration only in a clear environment and stop whenever you feel unsafe. The ordinary release remains a local preview with manual counting. A default-off internal build may check bounded visibility conditions and count broad supported sit-to-stand phases in the browser, but it does not certify the room, grade form, determine safety, diagnose, or infer pain. Low-quality input is recorded as not observed rather than normal. Touch Stop remains the primary guaranteed control.
7. Pricing and payments
Any founding price shown on the public website is a research hypothesis for planned educational software, not a current offer and not a price for physical therapy, medical treatment, clinician access, or clinical monitoring. The current preview does not charge a card. Future paid features will have separate checkout disclosures and refund terms.
8. Intellectual property and feedback
The website, original design, copy, software, and product materials are owned by Cost Plus PT or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may use the service for personal, noncommercial preview purposes. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it to improve the product without identifying you publicly.
9. Availability and changes
The preview may change, pause, or end without notice. We do not promise that every browser, device, camera, microphone, or speech-recognition provider will work. We may update these terms and will revise the effective date and provide appropriate notice for material changes.
10. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the preview is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise that it is error-free, suitable for a medical purpose, or appropriate for your circumstances. You decide whether to use the general information and remain responsible for seeking individualized advice when needed. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited. Additional commercial terms, warranties, and liability provisions will be published before paid features launch.
11. Governing law
These preview terms are governed by applicable United States federal law and the laws of Florida, without overriding consumer protections that apply where you live.
