Before you step in.
What Cost Plus PT is today, what it costs, who is involved, and what it stores — without the gloss.
Is this a chatbot with exercise videos?+
No. The product is being designed as a structured recovery system: safety rules, a versioned clinical pathway, camera-based movement checks, constrained adaptation, and a conversational layer that explains what the system is doing.
Will I need insurance?+
No. Cost Plus PT is planned as a direct-pay product with the full price shown before you start.
What does it cost?+
The planned founding price is $4.99 per month. That number is a research hypothesis for the planned knee pilot, not a current offer: the preview does not charge a card, and final pricing may change before launch.
What is your refund policy?+
Nothing can be purchased yet, so there is nothing to refund. A plain-language refund policy will be published alongside checkout before anything can be bought.
Is a clinician involved in my care?+
Not today, and the product says so wherever it matters. Cost Plus PT is not a licensed physical-therapy provider, no clinician monitors your entries, and the current release is an educational recovery preview. Named clinical review is a release gate we have committed to before any treatment claim.
What happens if the AI is not confident?+
It should say so. Unclear camera input, symptoms outside a supported pathway, or concerning changes lead to a retry, a stop, or guidance toward appropriate outside care.
Why start with knee recovery?+
A narrow first pathway lets us deeply test the movement experience, safety behavior, and outcomes before expanding responsibly to other body areas.
What data do you store?+
As little as each feature needs. The public movement check stores coded answers with your consent and deletes them on a 180-day clock; signed-in recovery entries are stored only for your own account; camera frames, audio, and transcripts are not retained. The privacy policy lists every category.
